The two-colored donut with yogurt is a genuine dessert , easy and quick to prepare.
This is a butter – free version, ideal for breakfast or for a snack.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like a sloth in the morning, so as soon as I wake up I need to find something ready to soak in coffee and milk.
Preferably a delicious cake, like this one, which thanks to the addition of yogurt and potato starch in the dough is really soft.
Even if it is a light dessert , the cocoa ripple makes it greedy, especially for children.

How to prepare the two-colored donut with yogurt:
We take the eggs and yogurt out of the fridge in advance because we will have to use them at room temperature.
In a large bowl, work the eggs with the sugar with an electric whisk, until you get a frothy mixture, then add the yogurt, oil, vanilla and water little by little.
We continue to work the mixture with the electric whisk; finally add the sifted flour, starch and yeast.
Grease a donut mold, or a 22-24 cm cake pan, with oil and flour it.
We pour two thirds of the dough into it.
In the remaining mixture add the sifted cocoa and 10 g of water at room temperature; mix gently with a spatula, so that the cocoa does not splash all over the place.
We spread the cocoa mixture on top of the clear one.
Bake the donut in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 35 minutes.
We do the toothpick test to check the internal cooking.
Let it cool before turning out the cake and sprinkle with icing sugar.
