Do we want a delicious and light dessert ? There is nothing better than fresh fruit glazed with chocolate in a mini stick version. Today I propose my favorite combinations: dark chocolate bananas with salted peanuts and white chocolate bananas with rapé coconut.
This recipe is prepared in a short time and is very versatile.
In fact, we can indulge ourselves by covering the mini sticks with the dried fruit we prefer.
And then … ” get the recipe “ .
Preparation of Dark chocolate bananas and peanuts
First we peel the bananas and cut them into 3 or 4 pieces each.
Then we pierce each piece with a wooden fork.
Place the mini sticks on a tray covered with a sheet of parchment paper and place them in the freezer for 20/30 minutes.
This way the forks will be more stable and won’t slip off the bananas when we dip them in chocolate.
Coarsely chop a handful of salted peanuts and leave aside.
Chocolate in a water bath
Break up the dark chocolate and melt it in a bain- marie.
We make sure that the water does not come into contact with the chocolate.
I used the chocolate buttons that melt quickly.
As soon as it starts to melt, lower the heat and mix slowly.
When it is almost completely dissolved, lift the saucepan and mix until completely dissolved.
This step is particularly important for white chocolate, as it tends to overheat quickly.
The glazing of dark chocolate bananas and peanuts
We stir to cool the chocolate and take half of the bananas out of the freezer.
Immerse them one at a time in the melting mixture and pass them in the chopped salted peanuts or dried fruit that we prefer.
Then lay them on parchment paper and put them to rest in the fridge.
Let’s proceed in the same way for the white chocolate and coconut glazed bananas.
Anna’s advice:
If you have some melted chocolate left over, you can dip some strawberries into it.
Just wash and dry them well, without putting them in the freezer before glazing.
Have you ever tried them dipped in white chocolate? I find them really delicious ..
I recommend you also try our chocolate and mascarpone truffles.
